AI Enshittification
Thankfully, I don't even have to worry about turning it off on my phone.
iOS 18.3 is now out, but I am blessedly spared the "Apple Intelligence" bullshit because Apple still can't envision a scenario where a user — say, an immigrant living in another country — may wish to use the system in one location and have Siri speak in a different one. What a concept.
It's just as well since I was only going in to turn it off, anyway, but glad to know that my particular use-case results in me not needing to!
